Mia Wongngor Johansen and Maria Quist Olsen successfully defended their master’s theses with top grades under the supervision of Carsten Eriksen and Kristine Højgaard Allin last week and earned their master’s degrees in Translational Medicine.

The aim of Mia’s thesis was to characterize the healthy microbiota in a population-based cohort, and Maria’s thesis aimed to investigate the impact of antibiotics exposure on the gut bacterial flora up 10 years prior to the time of sampling.
